How to Get Around Seychelles
Getting around Seychelles depends largely on which island you’re visiting. On Mahé and Praslin, buses are reliable and affordable, with rental cars offering flexibility for exploring remote beaches and viewpoints. Taxis are available but can be pricey. For inter-island travel, ferries connect Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue efficiently, with scenic crossings. Domestic flights and charter boats are needed for reaching the more remote outer islands.
La Digue is famously car-free, with bicycles and ox-carts being the preferred ways to explore. Many hotels also offer transfers, especially on smaller islands.
